How to Access Reproductive Healthcare in Texas if You're Under 18

Eleanor Grano

In this session, participants will hear about legal barriers that young people face when trying to prevent pregnancy in states with parental involvement laws for abortion and contraception. They will also learn about how Jane’s Due Process supports young people navigating these barriers and ensuring their full reproductive freedom. Facilitators will present a live-demonstration of Jane’s Due Process’s helpline and also provide information about judicial bypass for abortion, referral resources for teens that reside in contraceptive deserts, and how to safety plan with young people around sexual shame.
