Hayden Cohen

Hayden is a queer Jewish high school student in Houston, TX. In 2019, Hayden became the president of their school's GSA and from there got involved in the LGT+ community. They are on the Montrose Center's Hatch steering committee as well as serving on Pride Houston's Educational Committee and Community Engagement committee. In 2021, Hayden founded the East Texas GSA Coalition in order to create a network of ETX GSA's and work to create more inclusive schools. Since April 2020, Hayden began planning and organizing events with Keshet, a national lgbt+ Jewish organization. Some of these events include workshops, discussions, sexual education classes, and more. In their spare time, they either prepare for upcoming political events, read about sex, gender, and society, or bike ride.
